Feedback

Accommodation

“Communication with CATE-UK has been excellent. Information
sharing and diary recordings have been completed to a high standard. What is particularly lovely to see as a children’s social worker is the time that staff have taken to complete a scrap book with the young person, detailing their time and experiences with CATE-UK, including photographs and written descriptions of the YPs experiences whilst in their care.”

The accommodation CATE-UK provided was of very high quality. It was always clean, had everything required, but most importantly was quickly turned into a home for the child living there. Their own possessions were displayed and kept accessible at all times, and there was no doubt that it was their home. Communication with staff was excellent throughout, and every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. When we as professionals entered with requests such as additional forms or new approaches, the team was receptive and collaborative, which made working with the staff a real pleasure. Ultimately, I could go home after visits feeling confident and happy that the child living there was being cared for in every sense of the word.” Health Professional

“I have to say it put my mind at rest, L was his usual happy self and
I can see in him that he is doing well.

“I would like to take the opportunity to offer some feedback on L placement. Very positive feedback for this placement. L has settled well and is happy coming and going from school. The staff are very pleasant and ask lots of appropriate questions about his day, his week what he needs to bring with him etc. He has lovely packed lunches with staff encouraging him to try new foods while still maintaining favorites’. He has lovely weekends cooking and going out for visits locally. He presents immaculately and is always well prepared.Class Teacher

The YP has been offered a variety of activities and experiences during the time resided with them, specifically tailored to their needs and interests. Additionally, CATE-UK have been excellent at promoting and facilitating sibling contact, making it a fun and natural experience for the children. CATE-UK have worked well with other professionals involved with the YP, including school and health agencies. As the YP has additional needs, CATE-UK have ensured their approach to caring for the YP has been appropriate to the YPs needs and promoted their wishes and best interests. It has been lovely to see how happy and settled the YP has been in CATE-UKs care, and the excellent rapport staff have quickly built with the YP as well as the excellent standard of care the staff been able to provide.Social Worker

In regards to S, it was a godsend that your company were able to support him with this being a very difficult and sad time for him. Thankfully your team were on our doorstep and ensured that his needs were very well catered for. S has complex needs and time was given to understand his triggers with strategies put in place which defused his build ups – he did not require restraining during his time with you and your team which gives clear evidence that he felt comfortable and understood while in your care.Independent Safeguarding and Reviewing Officer
