sharing and diary recordings have been completed to a high standard. What is particularly lovely to see as a children’s social worker is the time that staff have taken to complete a scrap book with the young person, detailing their time and experiences with CATE-UK, including photographs and written descriptions of the YPs experiences whilst in their care.” Social Worker

“The accommodation CATE-UK provided was of very high quality. It was always clean, had everything required, but most importantly was quickly turned into a home for the child living there. Their own possessions were displayed and kept accessible at all times, and there was no doubt that it was their home. Communication with staff was excellent throughout, and every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. When we as professionals entered with requests such as additional forms or new approaches, the team was receptive and collaborative, which made working with the staff a real pleasure. The staff are very pleasant and ask lots of appropriate questions about his day, his week what he needs to bring with him etc. He has lovely packed lunches with staff encouraging him to try new foods while still maintaining favorites’. “The YP has been offered a variety of activities and experiences during the time resided with them, specifically tailored to their needs and interests. Additionally, CATE-UK have been excellent at promoting and facilitating sibling contact, making it a fun and natural experience for the children. CATE-UK have worked well with other professionals involved with the YP, including school and health agencies. As the YP has additional needs, CATE-UK have ensured their approach to caring for the YP has been appropriate to the YPs needs and promoted their wishes and best interests. It has been lovely to see how happy and settled the YP has been in CATE-UKs care, and the excellent rapport staff have quickly built with the YP as well as the excellent standard of care the staff been able to provide.” Social Worker
